IEEE EGYPT solid state circuit society & Circuits and Systems Joint Chapter

The Egyptian Joint Chapter of IEEE SSCS (known also as SSC37) and IEEE CASS with members from Academia and Industry.

Information

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is the world’s largest professional association, with more than 400,000 members worldwide, dedicated to “advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity”. It is a global community with highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and many professional and educational activities.

The IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society counts over 9,000 members and is primarily focused on fabricated integrated circuit designs. This scientific society is well known for its Journal of Solid-State Circuits (JSSC), the most downloaded technical journal in IEEEXplore, and International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC), the world’s premier circuits realization conference.

The IEEE Circuits and Systems Society is the leading organization that promotes the advancement of the theory, analysis, design, tools, and implementation of circuits and systems. The field spans their theoretical foundations, applications, and architectures, as well as circuits and systems implementation of algorithms for signal and information processing.

The Egyptian Joint Chapter of IEEE SSCS (known also as SSC37) and IEEE CASS counts about 10 members from Academia and Industry. Its main purpose is to gather researchers and engineers interested in chip implementations, help them communicate faster and enforce national/international partnerships by means of research projects and scientific meetings. It also cooperates with IEEE students’ chapters in Egypt to increase the awareness and interest in chip design, microelectronics, circuits, and systems.
