The closing event of 2021 was organized to recognize the efforts of Young Professionals who organized the Egyptian Engineering Day and its programs, and to thank the student branches and individuals who got awards on Region 8 level. The event was attended by the past chair Prof. Samir Shaheen. The former chair Prof. Ahmed Darwish virtually made a small speech. The event was hosted by Nile University Student Branch.
